EITN Workshop: Whole-brain simulations of the monkey brain

From : Thursday 04 February 2021 - 14:00

To     : Thursday 04 February 2021 - 18:00

Online workshop on "Whole-brain simulations of the monkey brain".
Organized by Alain Destexhe, Frédéric Chavane, and Viktor Jirsa.

In this workshop, we would like to discuss the modeling of large-scale activity in the macaque brain, in particular using population models.  In a first part, we will discuss the mesoscale (millimeters), were phenomena like propagating waves were recorded in high resolution and modeled at the level of an entire brain area in visual cortex.  In a second part, we would like to discuss this approach to model large-scale brain-wide phenomena, using tools such as The Virtual Brain and EBRAINS.
